19th Century

Strongly swayed by the philosophical and literary current of Enlightenment, combined with the novelty of the Industrial Revolution, the artistic production of the 19th Century features the contemporary human conditions dealing with conflicting ideas about the role of tradition and hierarchy, both in nature and society. We will refer to 19th Century art works only those which were produced between 1760 and 1859.

19th Century works of art, together with those of Old Masters, are often considered as the least volatile segment of the art market as such art works have a long track record of price and have passed the test of time. We aim to invest in the top 10% of the 19th Century market, primarily in high quality, blue-chip paintings which have stood the test of time and which are valued at between $100,000 and $5 million.
